Water flow and solute transport in the vadose zone and in plants. Field, laboratory and modeling studies of plant response to environmental stress conditions. Irrigation of crops. Whole-tree physiological studies in varied agricultural ecosystems. Agricultural utilization of saline water and of recycled wastewater.
